![]() The passion for fishing is expressed on the third floor with Fishpond providing the fish nets, poles and a reel for the centerpiece and fly-fishing themed art lining the hallway. The Grass Sticks installation at the recently completed Lofts at Steamboat Basecamp was designed by interior designer Johnson Nathan Strohe, or JNS, out of Denver, and final assemblage was done by Deneuve, the general contractor. “Field Trip Advisory did an awesome job executing our vision and featuring local brand companies and the outdoor lifestyle themes on each floor in a fun and tasteful way. “We had an art consultant on the project who helped curate and select all of the framed prints, elevator, lobby and fifth floor art,” Rielger said. ![]() The hallway leads to ground-level units and the elevator features classic ski posters and photographs that lead to another installation that Burnette created using the early generation Harvest Skis. ![]() The area also features a workstation where residents can make sure bikes and skis are ready for action, as well as seating and an LP turntable with albums to create a social space. The wood wall art was created by Jeff Burnette of Dane Good Wood, which incorporates the Moots logo to complete the room. To the side, there is banquette seating created using sleeping pad materials donated by Big Agnes and stitched together by Mike Hlavacek of Top Stitch Steamboat. The centerpiece was created using dozens of bamboo ski poles provided by Grass Sticks that hang like clouds from the ceiling above a large, modern conference table.
